Position Purpose

  • As an Associate Product Manager, you will playa key role within the Product Management team, responsible for supporting our product line revenue and standard margin goals and ensuring the most complete, accurate and up-to-date product information. You will support our product line and be considered a ‘Power User’ within our product information system. This position is a cross-functional role, working closely with customers, regulations, manufacturing, suppliers, purchasing and marketing and sales teams to ensure financial success. The hours are Monday-Friday 8:00a-5:00p. This is an entry level position.

2. Essential Functions & Principle Accountabilities

  • Responsible for ensuring product information is complete, accurate and updated including product attribute data, photos and other enhanced content. You will be responsible for ensuring lot sizes, bill of materials and other product data is correct.

  • Responsible for the support in evaluating, partnering, and managing supplier-ensuring SLA’s are being executed, assist Product Manager and Supply Chain in conducting Supplier quarterly reviews.

  • Responsible for supporting Product Manager in driving the growth of the product lines by assisting in a wide variety of areas including new product design, product launches, discontinuance, obsolescence, and maintaining competitive pricing/margin. You will partner with many departments, including Sales, Customer Service, Marketing and Procurement to ensure successful product inventory and sales generation.

  • Responsible for supporting and executing pricing for new products, track and help manage gross margin for product portfolio.

3. Additional Responsibilities

  • You will work directly with our sales team, customer success and customers to define product specifications to develop high quality products that align in a win-win situation.

  • Leads continuous improvement efforts on existing manufactured products to achieve, cost, quality, performance, and customer satisfaction targets.

  • Submits and follow-up on CARs as needed and evaluate internal or supplier material changes to ensure products meet compliance standards

  • Proactively search for gaps in quality and/or manufacturing processes for both LM and its suppliers and implement changes to stop potential problems before they occur.

  • Creates new and update existing test plans for all products working closely with the Regulations Team identifying critical dimensions and inspection/testing requirements for manufactured and purchased items.
