As a Project Manager in our Product Management team, you will be responsible for leading and managing a variety of projects related to our key product lines, including our facility maintenance, regulatory publications and packaging businesses. You will have direct impact on achieving revenue, gross margin and market share goals for this category. This position is a cross-functional role, working closely with R&D, manufacturing, suppliers, supply chain, marketing and sales teams to ensure financial success. You’ll have plenty of help. You will report to one of our Product Managers who will support your activities.

Product Execution

With a defined set of items already in place, you will work with various suppliers to ensure products are ordered, delivered, products LM should offer to its’ customers by understanding DG regulations and the needs of our customers. Works with Customer Service, Sales, Marketing and other departments to ensure they understand key product features and benefits.

Product Information Management

Is responsible for acquiring and inputting all product information into LM’s Product Information System and ensuring our website’s product copy and attributes are correct; checks and adjusts information regularly; ensures supplier is providing information per LM specifications and time frames

Supplier Management

Evaluates, partners, and manages suppliers; conducts quarterly review sessions with suppliers by agreed upon metrics; Assists in obtaining marketing funding from key strategic suppliers to achieve shared product revenue goals.

Inventory Management

Reviews product order and purchase quantities and monitors and expedites special/problem orders, as needed.

Experience & Attributes We’d Like You To Have

  • 3+ years managing projects

  • Application of project management skills to identify, coordinate, communicate, schedule and determine resources for each project.

  • Experience with automated PIMS and ERP systems

  • Passion and enthusiasm for resolving challenging or complex problems

  • Excellent listening skills and an ability to demonstrate empathy in applicable situations

  • Must be able to maintain a calm and professional composure at all times

  • Excellent verbal communication skills, as evidenced by an ability to interact with customers and suppliers of various interpersonal styles and differing degrees of product literacy

  • Ability to apply creative problem solving techniques to situations using sound business judgment

  • Ability to multi-task in an effective, timely and professional manner

  • Proven ability to apply attention to detail, role-related accuracy and task follow-through

  • Proficient with computer applications (e.g., Microsoft Office, Microsoft Outlook, etc.), internet (e.g., online chat, e-commerce sites, etc.) as well as navigating in sales/inventory management tools.
